  1. Preetham Parigi has over 45 years of experience spanning several sectors including Infrastructure, Telecommunications, Media, and Entertainment. He is a Co-founder of ENIL – Radio Mirchi and Times Out of Home (OOH Media). Prior to joining TOI, Parigi was the CEO of BPL Mobile Communications, Mumbai. Parigi was also a Member of the Business Advisory council, The Said Business School, Oxford University, UK; Member Board of Overseers Fordham Graduate School of Business, New York.
  2. Parigi is a former Member of the Board of Directors of Bennett, Coleman Co. Ltd. (The Times of India). Since 2016, Parigi serves as a chief mentor to start-ups in the field of AI/Fintech/digital media. He served as a Senior Advisor – Education to Yash Raj Films; Former Member Board of Directors – Times Innovative Media Ltd.
  3. Parigi is a recipient of several accolades including “Rensselaer’s Entrepreneur of the Year 2009; the first non-American to receive this award.

  1. Rajkamal Sharma, Batch of 79, is an International Business Consultant. He has had a distinguished career in the FMCG industry with stints in Unilever and Nestle. He retired a couple of years ago from Nestle, where as the Head of Exports, he was part of the Management Committee.
  2. He has had exposure in Procurement, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and other functions, but his core competence has been Sales & Marketing. Currently, as Country Manager of Global Appetite Inc., a Canadian company, he is helping them develop their International Business. As a Business Consultant, he has been utilising his years of experience in mentoring various start-ups. He advises several small and medium-sized companies on product & packaging development, communication strategy, channel development and other aspects, towards the objective of enabling business development both in India and abroad.

With 16 years of experience – a majority of which is in medical devices & equipment; Maneesh considers himself an ‘intra’preneur and strongly believes in the power of customer centricity to find solutions. He also believes that his strength is the ability to work with people at all levels (loves the “Doorman to Chairman” approach), deriving greater value through performance driven implementation to create a difference in the “moments that matter”.
  3. Maneesh has previously worked with Johnson & Johnson, GE Healthcare, ICICI Prudential & Schneider Electric. Apart from FMS, he is a proud alumnus of the Delhi College of Engineering and The Army Public School, New Delhi. He is passionate about giving back (in the spirit of Guru Dakshina) to all the fantastic institutions which have contributed to who he is and prides himself on doing that consistently.   1. Kamal Oberoi is one of India’s most respected names in the communications industry. He is currently the Chairman of QUO India – a specialist agency for the travel, tourism and hospitality industries. Kamal is on the Board of Quo Asia, Singapore; Quo Maldives; and Mark Exhaust Systems Ltd.
  2. In 2005, Kamal founded M&C Saatchi in India. In just two years’ time, M&C Saatchi achieved the unique distinction of being ranked among the top 20 most respected advertising agencies in India by the Economic Times.
  3. Prior to M&C Saatchi, Kamal spent over 20 years with India’s leading ad agency J. Walter Thompson (now called Wunderman Thompson), rising to the role of President. During his tenure there, he successfully headed JWT’s offices in Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai and Kolkata. Under his leadership each operation grew in profitability, client profile and employee morale.
  4. However, the real foundation for Kamal’s remarkable career in communications was laid by his 6 years in sales at Nerolac Paints. His exposure to ‘real India’ at Nerolac, started as an Assistant Sales Manager for Delhi, J&K, Haryana, before he grew to be Area Sales Manager for Rajasthan.
  5. In his long, illustrious career, Kamal has stewarded brands such as Pepsi, ITC, Hero cycles and motorcycles, Maruti Suzuki, Nestle, Ford, Levi’s, FritoLay, Apollo Tyres, Unilever’s tea brands, Ponds, Kingfisher, Pizza Hut, Bajaj Allianz, Jet Airways and Yakult, among many others.

  1. Sandip Das is one of Asia’s most respected telecommunications professionals and an acclaimed International Chief Executive.
  2. He was MD, CEO & Board Director of Reliance Jio, Group CEO & Executive Director of Maxis Communications Berhad, Malaysia and CEO of Hutchison Essar Telecom, now Vodafone (launched Orange and Hutch brands in India). He was one of the founding members of private telephony in India and was part of the group of individuals that founded Hutchison Max Telecom in 1994. He also led one of the world’s largest telecom IPOs, raising $3.5 billion for Maxis in 2009.
  3. He was listed among the top 100 Most Powerful Global Telecom people for four years by Global Telecom magazine and voted Best Malaysian CEO 2012 by Finance Asia. He has also been awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to India Telecom by Voice & Data magazine, Cyber Media Publications.
  4.   1. Sunder Hemrajani has a 35 years’ experience in Sales, Marketing and General Management functions in leading Companies like Hindustan Unilever, Whirlpool, PepsiCo, Reliance Capital and Times.
  2. He had a 14-year stint with Hindustan Unilever Ltd. where he handled senior assignments in HPC (Home & Personal Care) and Foods businesses. Sunder moved to Whirlpool in 1995 as Vice President-Sales, where he was involved in successful integration of the Refrigerator and Washer businesses and the launch of Whirlpool brand in India.
  3. In 1999, he joined PepsiCo to lead the company-owned bottling operation in North and East and subsequently moved to corporate office where he was Executive Director-Sales for South Asia Business Unit. He retired as Managing Director of Times Innovative Media Ltd. a subsidiary of Bennett Coleman Company Ltd. (Times Group) in 2014. He is the CEO & Co-founder of Incon Strategy Advisors Pvt Ltd.
  4. Sunder is a Guest Faculty at Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi where he is teaching marketing subjects as a part of MBA (Full Time) Program since 2006.
  5. Sunder is an alumnus of Harvard Business School. He did his MBA from FMS in 1979 and Graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) in 1977.He completed his high school education from Modern School, New Delhi in 1972.

  1. Rajesh Sud is a seasoned Indian banking and Insurance industry leader, with nearly three decades of experience in marquee organisations. He currently serves as the Managing Director for Bharti Enterprises Financial Services, overseeing Bharti AXA Life Insurance and Bharti AXA General Insurance businesses and is on the board of Airtel Payments Bank. Prior to this, Rajesh had a 19 year long stint with the Max group, starting as a founder team member of Max Life Insurance in 2000 and then leading it as its Executive Vice Chairman and Managing Director for 10 years, in which time Max Life grew to be India’s 4th largest private life insurer known for its quality of talent and processes. Rajesh also served as Chairman for 5 years of Max Bupa Health Insurance, one of India’s leading health insurance companies and of Max SkillFirst, a specialised training and skilling company.
  2. Prior to Max Life Insurance, Rajesh was Managing Director & CEO of Esanda Finance India, a subsidiary finance company of ANZ Grindlays Bank. Rajesh started his career at Bank of America and over the years, created a very successful consumer franchise for the bank in India.
  3. He has held the position of Co-Chairman, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Committee on Insurance and Pensions for 2015, 2016 & 2018. He has also been the Chairman, Life Council Committee on Awareness and Consumer Education (2014 and 2018).

Sudhir Nayar

  1. Sudhir Nayar spent over 30 years with two of the most respected and dynamic Companies in India – TATAs and Hindustan Lever Ltd. (Now HUL).
  2. Sudhir began his career in 1974 with TATA Oil Mills Ltd and worked through till 1993 in Sales & Marketing function.  He continued to focus on Sales & Marketing until 2002 at HUL and then went on to Head Corporate Affairs.  He represented HUL as a member of Industry/ Govt Committee to frame the Food laws in India in line with International Standards and best practices.
  3. A member of CII in the Eastern Region, he also served as a Director with Modern Foods & Industries Ltd. after the acquisition by HUL and was Chairman of KSIL – a joint sector co of HUL and WBIDC.
  4. Since 2004, Sudhir has been a visiting faculty with various business colleges – FMS Delhi, IMT Ghaziabad & Ambedkar University – teaching full semester course in Marketing, distribution & retail management.
  5. Sudhir now serves as an independent Director on several company boards including SML Isuzu.  He has served on the Board of PNB as a shareholder Director.

Ashwin Malik

  1. Ashwin Malik is a strategist, business conceptualizer and implementer with over 35 years of Corporate Experience including leadership experience across geographies in India and overseas. He has worked in domains including paints, alcoholic beverages, organised retail and hospitality. He has over the course of his career handled assignments in Marketing, Sales and General Management.
  2. Ashwin has worked in different assignments including as the Managing Director of Whyte and Mackay as also United Spirits (USL’s) Regional CEO – North. He has also worked extensively in the Travel Retail and Hospitality Sectors in India.  In his last professional stint, he worked as the Director General of the Confederation of Indian Alcoholic Beverage Companies (CIABC), a Delhi based Association which had among its members, the leading ‘Branded Spirits’ Companies operating in India.  Ashwin currently offers advisory services from time to time in the Beverage Alcohol & Travel Retail Sectors.
  3. Ashwin is a graduate in Economics from St. Stephens College, Delhi. He completed his Management from FMS Delhi in 1980. He has also attended the Advance Management Program at Harvard in 2002.

  3. He has been a member of several industry groups including Niti Aayog’s Working Group for Infrastructure for Vision -2035, CII National Council on Infrastructure and FICCI Communication and Digital Economy committee.

  1. Naveen Kapur is an International Marketing professional with more than 40 years’ experience in merchant exports of a wide range of projects, products and equipment across geographies.
  2. He has been the Whole Time Director and President of International Business Division with the Apollo Tyres Group for the last two decades. His professional career had taken him to more than 100 countries.
  3. He is a former Director on the Board of Artemis Hospital, Gurugram and has actively promoted medical tourism from Africa, Middle East and South Asia on a sustained basis.
  4. Naveen is the Sherpa to the Chairman of the BRICS Business Council and also the Chairman of the Working Group for manufacturing and exports for India in the BRICS.
